Our Founder's Story:

Having spent over a decade in the classroom and subsequent years as an education consultant for one of the world’s leading edtech companies, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of education. The desire to extend that impact beyond the confines of a single district or a single product led me to establish DaschEd Development.

I design professional development to be what I wish I had when I was teaching: useful, engaging, and supportive. This is accomplished through a thorough understanding of instructional design and Adult Learning Theory.

I have had the opportunity to move and experience teaching in several districts. Some of them were wonderful to work for; others not so much, but they all had one thing in common, they gave me classroom technology that I was never shown how to use. I feel like I could have done so much more for my students if I had known then what I do now. My goal is to work with as many teachers as possible so they never have to feel that way.

I currently live in Houston with my husband and a menagerie of pets. I enjoy facilitating development sessions, continued learning, reading, and travel.
